Thank you for your support of the
iPrep Academy PTSA during the
2018-19 school year!
The PTSA raises funds throughout each school year including from annual membership dues, T-shirt sales, Pizza Fridays, Smoothie King sales, Square Art sales, Academia Couture uniform sales, EduKit sales, Harvest Fest, and Parent’s Night Out. We could not have done any of it without your support – both monetary and through volunteer hours! The PTSA has hosted, sponsored or funded the following during this school year – thanks to you!
• Purchased student planners/agendas for grades K – 5th
• Hosted two Scholastic book fairs which provided thousands of “Scholastic” dollars donated to teachers to buy books and other items (rugs, etc) for their classrooms
• Hosted the 2018 Harvest Fest
• Hosted Parent’s Night Out at Canvas Miami
• Supported Science with a Twist (SWAT)
• Paid for decorations for the PK-5th grade holiday shows and for the holiday show pianist
• Donated breakfasts for teachers and staff for mandatory school meetings and teacher trainings
• Donated Teacher Appreciation Week Decorations and funded snacks, drinks, and chair massages for teachers
• Donated towards Pre-K graduation festivities
• Supported the Middle School Harvest Dance
• Hosted the annual pajama drive for Chapman Partnership
• Helped the 5th grade class raise money for graduation festivities
• 60% of the money raised for the May 28th field day will go to the PTSA and towards healthy initiatives at the school, including water bottle filling stations throughout the school and new PE/recreation equipment. We have already surpassed our $30,000 goal!
On behalf of the PTSA, we hope you and your families have a wonderful summer and we look forward to seeing you on August 19, 2019 for the start of the 2019-2020 school year!
Note: EduKits for the 2019-20 school year are currently available for purchase.

On May 28th, iPrep Academy is joining forces with Oronde Taliaferro of the Detroit Pistons to Challenge our Students 2 Change.
Oronde Taliaferro runs a nonprofit organization that promotes a healthy lifestyle for underprivileged youth. His summer programs include seminars, health education, and fun activities.
Oronde has created “Fitness Fun Days” to raise money to support his program. iPrep will be participating in this fundraiser on May 28th at Morningside Park. There will be various stations set up for the students including football, basketball, obstacle courses, and in the end…a color run for those who raise a min. of $30. Please dress accordingly as you will be getting colorfully dirty!!!
Click here to register your child for this fundraiser activity. After you register your child(ren), you can forward the link to all your family and friends. And if you have more than one child participating, you will need a different email address for each child. The amounts raised are visible for everyone to see on iPrep’s dedicated webpage. The goal is for each of our students to raise $150. We have set a goal of $30,000 for the entire school. The Challenge 2 Change organization will keep 40% of the monies raised and iPrep will keep 60%. If we meet our goal, that is a total of $18,000 that we will use to enhance a healthy lifestyle year-round at iPrep. We hope to install water filling stations and update all of our sports equipment so that every child can reap the benefits of this fundraiser.
Prizes will be awarded to every student who reaches their goal and special prizes will be awarded to the top 3 students in the school who raise the most money. Examples of these special prizes include PlayStations, Xbox, and AirPods.
Steps to register:
- Log on to https://iprep.causevox.com/
- Click the “Fundraisers Click Here” tab displayed in gray.
- Follow the steps; enter your child’s information.
[Reminder: if you have more than one child, must register each separately, with a different email for each]
- A link will be sent to the registered email address which can then be forwarded to your family and friends.
The amounts donated/raised are transparent to everyone at the bottom of the https://iprep.causevox.com/ website.

Thank you in advance for your continued support!
A few months back, 2 of our beloved students, Amelie and Cecilia Ise, came up with an idea 💡 to create a club to help bring awareness to all of our abilities, and along came the
B4 Inclusion Club.
With Ms. Robin Koogle spearheading this after-school activity, the B4 Inclusion Club will be heading out on their first venture as a team to help bring awareness to those affected with Autism. We are so honored and proud to have students in our iPrep family to be representing us in the Autism Speaks Walk next week. Please click on the link and help support in any way you can…join the walk or donate to their cause.
Thank you in advance for your continued support!
